AI voice agent

An AI voice agent that sells on the call, not just answers it

A receptionist picks up and takes a message. A salesperson finds out what the caller wants, answers the hesitation, and gets to a booking or an order before they hang up. Viravance's voice agent does the second job, on every call, including the ones your team can't reach.

What an AI voice agent is, and what it isn't

An AI voice agent, sometimes called an AI voice receptionist, is software that holds a real phone conversation. It listens, works out what the caller needs, answers from what it knows about your business, and then acts: it books, it takes the order, or it passes the lead to a person with the details.

That separates it from the other things that answer a phone. A phone tree ("press 2 for sales") makes the caller do the work. Voicemail turns a call into a task for later. An answering service takes a message. A voice agent finishes the conversation, so the caller leaves with a booking, an invoice or a clear next step.

  • Understands what the caller says in their own words, not menu choices.
  • Answers from your services, products, prices, hours and policies.
  • Uses connected tools to finish the job: your calendar, your catalog and invoicing.
  • Knows when a person would serve the caller better, and hands off with the details.

Built to convert, not to deflect

Most phone automation is built to keep people away from your staff. Viravance's voice agent is built the other way around: to move a caller toward a decision. When someone hesitates, objects, or asks for something the agent can't do exactly, it doesn't give up or pass them along at once.

It follows the same steps a good salesperson would, and it keeps every one of them honest.

  • It asks one question to find what the caller cares about, such as price, timing or fit.
  • It answers the concern with what it actually knows: what's included, how easy the next step is, why it suits them.
  • It proposes the best next step it can finish right now: book it, order it, or text a link.
  • It asks for that step plainly and kindly: "Want me to get that booked for you?"

It finishes the sale on the call

Interest fades fast once a caller hangs up. The voice agent closes the loop on the call itself. It checks live availability and books the appointment into your calendar. For an order, it builds the order with the caller and sends a hosted invoice they pay on the payment processor's page, so you can tell the order is real before anyone packs a box.

Phone calls are bad at spelling, so it handles details carefully. It reads back anything spelled, numeric or custom before it commits, such as an email address, a phone number or a quantity. It never reads a web link aloud. It says the link is on its way by email and offers to text it.

It hands off the way a good salesperson would

Some calls are better closed by a person: a large or complicated deal, a caller who asks for someone twice, or a request outside what the agent can do. For those it makes a warm handoff instead of a dead end.

  • It gets the caller's name and best number and reads the number back in groups of digits.
  • It asks the best time to call and tells them exactly what happens next.
  • It alerts your team with the reason and the details.
  • If the caller declines a person but showed interest, it still saves the lead so your team can follow up.

Every call leaves a record

After each call, the agent writes a short summary of who called, what they wanted, what it did and how it ended, and it says plainly whether someone should follow up. Calls that need a follow-up land on your Leads list and alert your team. Everything else, such as questions answered, orders completed and wrong numbers, is kept under Other calls with its summary, so you can still see what callers talked to the AI about.

The dashboard then shows what the front desk booked and sold in dollars, so you can see whether the calls it answers are turning into revenue.

Honest by design

A voice that sells has to be trustworthy or it costs you customers. Viravance's agent is told to stay honest at every step. It never invents discounts, features, prices, scarcity or deadlines, and it never pressures a caller. Payment never happens on the call: card numbers are not taken by phone, and the caller pays on the processor's hosted page.

Your team stays in control. You decide the greeting, the voice and what the agent may do, and you can read every conversation.

Where an AI voice agent pays off

It earns its place wherever calls go unanswered or answered in a rush: after hours and weekends, lunch breaks and busy stretches, and peak times when more people call than your team can take. It also takes the repetitive calls (hours, prices, availability) so your people can focus on the ones that need them.

Businesses that book appointments or take orders by phone see the most direct return: salons, home services, auto repair, restaurants and caterers, fitness studios and pet services. Each has its own page showing how the front desk handles its calls.

Voice and chat on one engine

The same agent that answers your phone runs the chat on your website, with one set of knowledge about your business. You manage one thing, not two tools, and a customer can start in chat and finish by phone.

Common questions

Is an AI voice agent really a salesperson?

It does the parts of selling that happen on a call: it finds out what the caller wants, answers concerns honestly, proposes the next step and asks for it, then finishes the booking or order. It isn't a replacement for a person on a large or complicated deal, and it hands those off.

Will it pressure or mislead callers?

No. It is told to stay honest at every step: it never invents discounts, features, prices, scarcity or deadlines, and it never pressures. If it doesn't know something, it says so and offers your team.

What happens if the caller wants a person?

It brings one in. It gets the caller's name and best number, asks the best time to call, alerts your team with the reason, and tells the caller what happens next. Nobody is left on hold.

How is this different from an answering service?

An answering service takes a message that a person still has to return. The voice agent books the appointment or sends the invoice on the call, and when a person is needed it passes them the details instead of just a name and number.

Can I see what callers talked about?

Yes. Every call gets a short summary on your dashboard. Calls that need a follow-up appear under Leads, and the rest are kept under Other calls so you can read what callers asked.

Who sets up the phone line?

A real person does, with you. We create the line, set its greeting and voice, test calls before it goes live, and stay available through your free month for adjustments. Right now you work directly with the founder.

How much does it cost?

Plans are $300, $700 and $1,500 a month, each with voice minutes and conversations included, plus a one-time setup fee. Every new account starts with a free first month.
